Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5X S35 (Silver) Fuji X (Lao-80-FX-S-CI)

The Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 lens (Silver) (Fuji X) is a compact, lightweight anamorphic lens designed to capture high-quality organic images with a 1.5x anamorphic squeeze on S35 sensor cameras. It boasts telephoto compression suitable for close-ups, an aperture range from T2.4 to T16 for achieving deep depth of field, and 13 aperture blades to produce soft bokeh.

This prime lens offers a short minimum focusing distance of 70 cm and includes anamorphic features such as oval bokeh, shallower depth of field, and silver lens flares. It also comes with focus markings in both foot and meter, 0.8 MOD cine gears on focus and aperture rings, and a 62 mm front filter thread. The Fuji X lens mount is interchangeable and can be swapped for six other separately available mounts. Additionally, the Nanomorph prime can be paired with the separately available 1.33x adapter to achieve a squeeze ratio of 2x.

A squeeze ratio of 1.5x strikes a perfect balance between size and anamorphic intensity, resulting in an aspect ratio of 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeezing. Furthermore, the lens offers coverage greater than that of the S35, enabling its use with minimal vignetting on certain full-frame cameras.
